Opening October 12th I will have mixed media works on wood panel on exhibit for two months at the Lightning Society Lofts, 245 Varet St. in Bushwick. Curated by Nyahzul Blanco, and including works by Ruyin Tsai and Caroline Voagen Nelson, the opening will feature artists talks with Q+A.
Thanks to Sam and the lovely ladies of Shag Brooklyn, at the corner of N. 6th and Roebling in Williamsburg, Visakh Menon and I have collaborated on a site-specific window installation. The opening reception is Friday, April 3rd, in conjunction with the in-store exhibition A View of the End : Miniature Paintings by Catalina Viejo Lopez De Roda.
Coming November 1st through December 13th, some of my recent collage work will be included in (Un)Mediated, at Kunsthalle Galapagos in Dumbo, Brooklyn. The show is curated by David Rios Ferreira and Christine Walia, and will incldue works by Felipe Baeza, Rina Banerjee, Mitsuko Brooks, Cecile Chong, Juan Hinojosa, Lina Puerta, Nyugen Smith, Jennifer Williams, and Saya Woolfalk.
